1. Casablanca Cocktail Lounge

This isn’t your typical Manhattan cocktail lounge. Casablanca is affordable, diverse and good for a big night out or quick tipple with friends. Expect a live DJ and dancing later in the night. Cash only.

2. Bar LunÀtico
Address: 486 Halsey St, Brooklyn, NY 11233
Hours: 8:30AM-1:30PM

This is your neighborhood go to for live music — everything from jazz to neo-folk. There’s no cover, but musicians will pass the hat around. Excellent beer selection, solid small plates and a really good vibe.

When you want a session of no nonsense drinking with a young hip crowd, this is your spot. Like of so many places in Brooklyn, it is cash only.

4. Black Swan

Address: 1048 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205
Hours: 7AM–4AM

A hip British pub with none of the pub cliches. Solid food and pints.

5. The Wilky
Address: 108 Patchen Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11221
Hours: 2PM–2AM

The Wilky is a favorite of young transplant to the neighborhood and boast a rotating craft beer menu.

6. Lover’s Rock

If you want Bed Stuy? This is your spot. It’s Caribbean-themed cocktail bar pumping old-school hits and reggae, and there is in a nice backyard. It’s super fun, diverse and absolutely easy going.
