New York Times Quiet Drink columnist, Steve Reddicliffe, is celebrating the release of his new book, “The Essential New York Times Book of Cocktails” at the Lower East Side’s Suffolk Arms.
Reddicliffe will read select passages from the book, which is a definitive take on contemporary libations culture and includes 350 recipes, both classic and modern.
Suffolk Arm’s Head Bartender Giuseppe González will serve iconic cocktails, from Martinis and Manhattans to summery Highballs. Meanwhile, Chef Alex García will cook up multi-ethnic bar bites including Apollo’s Chino Latino Dumplings, Thai Chili Wings, Salchipapas, Assorted Tacos and Lower East Side Burgers.
